Wildfire Resilience Funders (WRF)
The Network
WRF is a learning and action network that fosters collaboration among philanthropic funders and advances progress towards wildfire-resilient communities and landscapes.
WRF is the only curated space dedicated to mobilizing funders focused on the complex issues linked to wildfire and climate change. Created in response to the increasing severity and magnitude of wildfires that have come with the changing climate in western North America, the network aims to increase strategic alignment and investment, and maximize impact. Since its founding, it has grown quickly to include more than 140 member and affiliate organizations.
WRF membership is available to grantmaking organizations that are active or interested in funding wildfire resilience, while affiliate status is offered to community-based organizations, conservation organizations, government agencies, philanthropic advisors, and other entities that are working on wildfire issues.
Membership
WRF welcomes philanthropic funders as members, while other interested organizations can participate as affiliates.

Member-only Activities & Events
WRF members have the opportunity to participate in an array of activities and events. These include an annual in-person convening; “wildfire action groups,” time-limited work groups developed and led by peers specifically to advance collaboration on shared interests; and member-only side meetings and discussions, which delve more deeply into matters of particular concern to funders.
